The progress the children have made in Reception has again been excellent in all areas of the curriculum from initial baseline scores.
80% of pupils attained a ‘Good level of Development’ at the end of EYFS (reaching at least the expected level in Communication & Language, Personal, Social & Emotional Development and Physical Development along with Maths and Literacy).
School Last year: 81%
National 2019: 71.7% / Kirklees 2019: 69.7%
Some children are attaining exceptionally high and working at ‘exceeding’ in a number areas. The areas where the highest number of children are working at exceeding levels are - Moving and Handling (35%), Health & Self Care (36%), Managing Feelings and behaviour and Listening & Attention (37%).
All the above demonstrates the huge impact that our focus for this year's school development work has had upon pupil progress and attainment outcomes.
