Outdoor Learning
In addition to our Forest School programmes, Year 1 children will be following an established programme of Outdoor Learning throughout the year. Outdoor Learning is different to Forest School in that it is teacher-led – basically a lesson that is taught outdoors! The Year 1 classes take turns to go outside each week and the children will have outdoor learning experiences in art, geography, history and science.
