Early Years Foundation Stage Results 2018

The progress the children have made in Reception has again been excellent in all areas of the curriculum from initial baseline scores.

81% of pupils attained a ‘Good level of Development’ at the end ofEYFS (reaching at least the expected level in Communication & Language, Personal, Social & Emotional Development and Physical Development along with Maths and Literacy).

School Last year: 84% / National: 71% / Kirklees 68%

Some children are attaining exceptionally high and working at‘exceeding’ in a number areas. The areas where the highestnumber of children are working at exceeding levels are Moving and Handling (36%), Health & Self Care (34%), Making Relationships (28%) and Listening & Attention (26%).

All the above demonstrates the huge impact that our focus for this year's school development work has had upon pupil progress and attainment outcomes.

School Last year: 85% / National: 69% / Kirklees 66.8%

Some children are attaining exceptionally high and working at ‘exceeding’ in many areas.
The areas where the highest number of children are working at ‘exceeding’ are Health & Self-care (33%), Moving and Handling (42%), Managing Feelings & Behaviour (32%), Understanding (33%) and Listening & Attention (33%).

All the above demonstrates the huge impact that our focus for this year's school development work has had upon pupil progress and attainment outcomes.
